Reports and footage are coming in of the shelling of a railway station at Kramatorsk, some 150k north of Donetsk. A Ukrainian “Tochka U” rocket, an old Russian weapon no longer used by the Russian military, was fired into the crowds who were waiting to be evacuated. This kind of war-crime by Ukraine has been going on since 2014.
Unlike BBC fake reports – made days later – there is actual footage of this deliberate attack on civilian facilities.
There are bodies lying around as the following photo shows.
An early report from the BBC makes no mention of who launched the attack but says about 30 are dead and 100 injured. In true fashion they are trying to blame it on Russia.
“Zelensky: Russia cynically destroying the civilian population
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has condemned the attack on the Kramatorsk train station, where around 30 people are believed to have been killed.
Writing on Instagram, Zelensky said: “Lacking the strength and courage to stand up to us on the battlefield, they are cynically destroying the civilian population.
“This is an evil that has no limits. And if it is not punished, it will never stop.”
So that’s the BBC – true to form as ever.
Disturbing video footage from the scene shows the horror of war and the evil regime the UK and western powers are supporting.
As Moon of Alabama points out:
“As Russia has already interrupted the train lines west of Kramatorsk, and thereby stopped resupplies to it, it has no need to attack Kramatorsk station at all.”
Further update 15:30 pm
All the western media were caught out by Pavlo Kyrylenko’s Telegram message stating that it was a Russian Iskander missile which hit the railway station. They, including the BBC, have been frantically removing this error all morning without any apology. At least Kyrylenko, head of the Ukrainian Regional Military Administration for Donetsk, has updated his message to reveal that it was indeed a Tochka-U rocket, apparently there were two fired. He still blames the liberators even though Russia does not use these older weapons.
Ukraine Pravda (meaning Truth) still has the message up.
The Russian Ministry of Defence states that “the attack on the Kramatorsk railway station was carried out by a missile division of the Ukrainian armed forces from the area of the settlement of Dobropillya 45 kilometers southwest of the city.”
“The aim of the Kiev regime’s strike on the station in Kramatorsk was to disrupt the mass departure of residents from the city in order to use them as a “human shield” for the defense of the AFU positions, as in many other settlements of Ukraine.”
